Royal Decree No. 63/98 On the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property and the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
And the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property dated 20 March 1883, as revised in Stockholm on 14 July 1967 and amended on 28 September 1979,
And the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works dated 9 September 1886, as revised in Paris on 24 July 1971 and amended on 28 September 1979,
And in pursuance of public interest,
Have decreed as follows
