Royal Decree No. 29/2000 Promulgating the Law on the Protection of Water Resources

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
And Royal Decree No. 82/88 considering water resources a national wealth,
And Royal Decree No. 3/94 transferring the responsibilities and competences related to dams and aflaj to the Ministry of Water Resources,
And in pursuance of the public interest,
We have decreed as follows
