We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
Royal Decree No. 66/2001 defining the competences of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources and approving its organizational structure,
the Law on the Protection of the Environment and Prevention of Pollution promulgated by Royal Decree No. 114/2001,
and in pursuance of the public interest,
Have decreed as follows
