Royal Decree 45/2004 promulgating the Veterinary Quarantine Law

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After reviewing the Basic statute of the State promulgated by royal Decree No. 101/96,
Royal Decree 93/2000 concerning the Veterinary Quarantine System in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States,
And the decision of the Supreme Council of the GCC in its 21st session held in Bahrain during the period from December 30 to 31, 2000, regarding the Veterinary Quarantine System in the GCC States,
And in pursuance of public interest,
We decreed the following
