Royal Decree No. 42/2009 Promulgating the Seeds, Propagation Materials, and Seedlings Law

We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman,
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
the Law on the Protection of Plant Varieties promulgated by Royal Decree No. 92/2000,
the Plant Quarantine Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 47/2004,
the Agriculture System promulgated by Royal Decree No. 48/2006,
and the decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in its 29th Session held in Muscat during the period from 29 to 30 December 2008 regarding the Seeds, Propagation Materials, and Seedlings Law for the GCC States,
and in pursuance of public interest,
Have decreed as follows:
