We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
the Law on the Protection of Plant Breeders’ Rights promulgated by Royal Decree No. 92/2000,
Royal Decree No. 37/2007 on the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to Certain International Treaties Related to the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights,
Royal Decree No. 9/2008 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Agriculture and Approving Its Organizational Structure,
and the Industrial Property Rights Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 67/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
We have decreed as follows:
