We, Qaboos bin Said,
Sultan of Oman
After perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,
and the decision of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in its thirty-second session held in Riyadh during the period from 19 to 20 December 2011 adopting the Animal Welfare Law,
and after presentation to the Council of Oman,
and in pursuance of public interest,
Have decreed as follows
