We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman

After perusal of the Basic statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,

the Law on the Protection of National Heritage promulgated by Royal Decree No. 6/80,

Royal Decree No. 40/2016 Determining the Competencies of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Approving its Organizational Structure,

And after presentation to the Council of Oman,

And in pursuance of the public interest.

We Decreed the following
