Local Order 23 / 92 regarding the Regulation of Buildings in Muscat

Muscat Municipal Council
After perusal of the Royal Decree No. 18 / 84 regarding the transfer of the responsibility for overseeing the Muscat Municipality to the Diwan of Royal Court,
Royal Decree No. 8 / 92 promulgating the Law for Regulating Muscat Municipality and its amendments,
Local Order No. 1 regarding the regulation of buildings, issued on 21/01/1974.
And Ministerial Decision No. 40 / 81 regarding the regulation of buildings, issued on 24/10/1981.
Based on His Majesty the Sultan's directives that building specifications shall embody an architectural style that is Omani, Arab, Islamic, and modern at the same time.
The Municipal Council issues the following Local Order:
