We, Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman

After perusal of the Basic statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No. 101/96,

the Law on Expropriation for Public Benefit promulgated by Royal Decree No. 64/78, as amended,

the Law on National Parks and Protected Natural Sites promulgated by Royal Decree No. 26/79, as amended,

And the Law on the Protection of the Environment and Combating Pollution promulgated by Royal Decree No. 114/2001, as amended,

And in pursuance of the public interest,
