Royal Decree 78/2020 Amending the Name of the Electricity and Related Water Sector Regulation Authority to the Authority for Public Utilities Regulation and Assigning Some Competences to It

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Royal Decree 78/2000 Promulgating the Law Granting the Oman Gas Company (SAOC) the Concession to Manage the Gas Transportation Sector,

the Law on the Regulation and Privatization of the Electricity and Related Water Sector promulgated by Royal Decree 78/2004,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

and the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows
